i havn't got the correct tools to do it but this is how i get em out.

strip head, rockers & cam out -
then i get a ring spaner and put it thru the rocker cover onto the top of the spring. I get a small socket and put it on the ground and put the head ontop. The socket holds the valve shut. then with a moan and shove i leaver the valve open/depress spring and remove collets. I can get it first or second try but first time took about half an hour of moans and yells to get them otu.

Might be an idea to put a old t-shirt over the head while your doing it only leaving a large enough gap to see what your doing. The collets tend to launch out of there sometimes if your spanner slips.
