What Do You Want!!??????

As the majority of us here at MINIRIDERS.com know we are currently upgrading, adding, removing, cleaning up the forum to a more readable and user friendly format.
You as members have the chance to suggest ideas as to what YOU would like to see on here.
As an example its fair to say their is MORE than enough POST YOUR BIKE
threads. Would members be happy with Brand specific POST YOUR BIKE?
How about things like:

Picture Of the Month?
Tip of the Month?
Member of the week?
NEW RIDERS?
Most informative post of the week?
Meetings or get togethers: QLD/WA/Vic/NSW/SA/TAS/NT?
REMOVED POSTS-due to flaming, language, off topic chit chat.

these are just suggestions please feel free to add your own(within reason) and we will do our best to get them happening!

On a side note, im willing to speak to current legal tracks within My area and try to get some kind of GROUP day together, hopefully all going well this would give us a discounted price to use their track while still maintaining a legal and safe place to gather. possibly organise small races or a knock out event. depending on numbers. opinions on this would be good.

Our goal as a forum is to give Information, Ideas, Opinions, and Help to other people, as well as having a place to spend our non riding time.

Thankyou for taking the time, and if you read this post it would be good if you could also make a suggestion towards the forum.

Thanks
Foolsp33d

Hey foolsp33d, thats a great idea, there is some awesome info in these threads but it is kinda messy and hard to find. There seems to be alot of repetition in questions asked. Is there a way of cataloging things so members can browse FAQ's before starting another repeated thread???

im not to sure, i'll look into it but shoot miniriders a PM and possibly suggest the idea to him, he has 'The Power' so to speak..
Id like to see a dedicated section for each bike..

ie: AGB->models->specs->engines->mods->pics
Pitpro->models->-specs->engines->mods->pics
MSO->models->specs->engines->mods->pics
motovert->models->specs->engines->mods->pics
etc. maybe not EVERY model, but a basic rundown of what is popular, and maybe a OTHERS section for those with one off bikes and so on..

This way there is an easy to use way to find what people are after, obviously keep the general mini section, general section, classifieds and riding spots as is, but just make actuall SUB headings for the bikes..
will move this to general forum ideas.. continue it there..
We are OPEN to suggestions guys, its OUR board so we can suggest what we would like, and if its possible im sure miniriders(Rob or scott) will be more than willing to do their best to accomodate.

Should just create a whole new sub forum "how to" but have it locked and only mods or admins can move topics over there and sticky them eg

Miniriders.com.au : Aussie Mini Bike Forum > Mini Forums > How To

How to Install Inner Rotor Kit

well yeah..thats what im getting at....

but with different makes/models etc..
so it wouldnt have Lifan and ducar in one section, it would be two seperate sub boards...
if it was only Mods with acsess it would mean having to have each post addressed specifically to us, which people would probably find a hassel, although once the information is there for sure it can be locked down n for view only..

I actually mean so people cannot post or create new threads only view them. Therefore they don't build up with pointless posts. Look at this for an example http://www.calaisturbo.com.au/forumdisplay.php?f=55 tho them topics are open for posting.

keep chewing this one over - give it a few days to get all the good suggestions from everyone then implement it as best as the software can do - this is a great move forward for all at miniriders I rekon

A post for the exact laws in each state would be cool.

How does the information get there? People like mack or anyone else who knows there stuff create a topic explaining how to install something... If the readers and admins think it is worthy they move it over to the locked sub forum so people don't have to create new topics everyday asking how to install the same thing when it has been explained 20 times already.
