| Yes, this review is very accurate! Its a great bike just there a few small low quality parts, like the oil cooler weld snaps easily and as you said the shock is too soft.
It also uses a made in China Mikuni carburetor, not a Japanese made one so it uses a butterfly valve, its still a really good carb though.
The brakes are too soft and don't work very well (but are still allright), I don't know for sure why this is but Im pretty sure the brake pads are just new and very smooth, just sand paper them or rub them on a rough surface and rough them up!
Other small things that let me down were; the muffler clamp snapped, snapped throttle cable (should have put grease through it), fuel cap cross threaded, oil cooler snapped off, and then the regular stuff like loose bolts resulting in the front brake caliper and the chain guide falling off.
But Its had a real thrashing in the past few weekend and really keeps up and compares to my friends bikes such as my friends 06 thumpstar pro, the only difference is the pitpro is just a bit less reliable.
But fantastic bike great performance, really happy with it! Oh and you'd be very lucky to get one for $850, I got mine for $1000 but thats about as high as the bid will go on eBay and maybe you should add to the "make" BSE/Pitpro because BSE are the real manufacturers. This is a great forum section btw!
