ok well ive seen a couple of pitty vids an noticed alot of ppl when they jump they sit on there seat an thought id start this thread so every one can share what they prefure to do when jumping

ill start with the YZ i allways stand up i feel i have more control of the bike but i also stand when i jump on the 138 an 110
maybe because im used to standing on the big bikes an just do it with the pittys i guess also cause when i used to bmx jump i allways used to stand too

does any one reckonmending me to try an sit when jumping with the pittys??

Depends on the jump, I usually stand up a little before I hit the jump and then stand right up in the middle of the jump before I land I guess...

yeah i had a yz and i always stood up. I feel the same when i ride my thumpstar. I tried sitting down a couple of time but found if the jumps up ramp is to small the back end of the bike will preload and almost always nearly fling me over the front of the bike. lol it could be me but i feel so much more control in the air when i stand up. And your arse doesnt get sore lol

Alright well ive done both and i stand up. but the riders that ride bmx track and the supercreoss guys on the big bikes sit down and "seat bounce" if they have to come out of a corner and do a big double or tripple because they dont have enough time to stand up and its easier.

just do what feels better for you.

yeah its easyer to seat bounce on steep jumps with high down ramps and easyer to stand up on more flowing jumps.

i second this!!
Sitting when jumping = me getting bounced by the seat and almost going over the handle bars.
standing up much better!
