Race Cdi

i was riding my bike and the bike just stop the cdi packed up twice ive returned it. Has any1 had the same problem. when i took mine back they said it was a fuse inside that poped .Any1 no if there is fuses inside the cdi unit??

I'm not sure about the fuses n' that but I'm always hearing that these things are breaking.

ive used a couple and have never had a problem or heard about it, it could be the supplier having bad parts? because usually the cdis are a great little upgrade for around 30 bucks

My old one broke because I washed my bike without the seat on and got water on it and then rode it.

There is no fuse inside the cdi box. What brand are you using? I havent heard of any problems with ANY cdi's. Make sure the ground is good in the wiring harness... a bad ground could possibly cuase a voltage spike that would fry some of the curcuitry.

I will challenge any engine builder to a dual, My motor/bike vs. theirs on a track... same rider same track different motor. I guaruntee mine will out last and out power the other.
