Don't use a (wireless) cycle computer!

I bought a wireless cycling speedo for my pitpro for $20 inc delivery the other day. Took ages for me to figure out that it wasn't working cos the magneto was interfering with the reciever.

It worked fine with the engine off, but engine on and it went up to 99.9km/h!

So don't get one

If it's not wireless it can work.

Cycling computer, works sweet...

You must have bought a piece of shit mate and for $20 you wouldnt expect much less. The one i have retails for $60 and it works perfectly. Its a perfect way to count hours on your engine and your riding time and speeds etc. Buy a decent one and you will love it.

Captain Dust i think in that thread they were talking about normal cycling speedos not wireless ones like what jono is referring to because that would explain the interference.

The only ones Ive seen on pitikes are the ones the same as captain dust has, so they seem to work.
