New rear shock

I am looking for a better rear shock for my bike preferably adjustable.

Hi ash_man,

looks very similar to the shock I had on mine, has much the same setup. I couldn't get a suitable bolt on replacement so I had to redo the rear swingarm & use a longer shock. Take the shock off and measure it eye to eye centre and let us know. One guy I asked back then said he was getting some shorter shocks in, I'll find out who it was and let you know. If the shock is around 230mm long you will find it hard to get a suitable one with a heavy enough spring as most replacments are around 260mm.

I am still after a new rear shock, my current shock is 230mm long (eye to eye), i am probably able to modify the mount to accept a longer shock plus my bike could go a bit higher posibly a 250 - 260mm shock.

My matewho has the same bike as me made a 265mm shock fit but i would like to find one a bit cheaper and a little shorter if possible.
