Can Someone Explain SDG Frames??

Just moved this here frmo general chat. need an answer.

Im lookin at getting a creap little bike (under $1000) to have some fun on untill i can afford my WR450F. A few models i have looked at have an SDG frame. i am trying to work out what this is. is it good??

I have seen SDG frames that look completely different. have different rear shock mounts and swingarms

any info would be great.

SDG is a style of frame that was originally used by a company called SDG. And yes the frames are good in chromolly or Alloy.

thanks for that. pretty much got the idea now. gets kind of hard when there are so many bikes out there that are constantly copying other peoples designs.

hopefully out of all this i end up with a good frame and engine at the right price
