He's asking about the 08 models. Maylands is the 07 model and doesn't have zokes so it's not eally the same as the US 07 X4R.

the 07 and 08 pitster frames are almost exactly the same with only light mods to the engine mounts to accomidate the different engine.

If I built up a pitster the same way I plan on doing my vert pro it would cost me about $2,500 more. Just to have the elka shock and Marzocchi forks for a stock X4R I would have to spend over $3,200 which is more than I would spend on the vert pro with that same suspension plus better front brake, better oil cooler, flexx bars, aftermarket hubs, spokes, rims, fully built takegawa +R head with 28mm flat slide carb, big bore kit, sidewinder sprockets, spider grips, aftermarket chain, asv levers, and upgraded brakes. To me its a pretty obvious choice.

Sooo if ya need a killer set up like that and ya sponsored.... you race right ???

I mean for a shop not god ...I know a few vert dealers which one are you riding for ??? ... it's just that you seem very fussy for a sponsored rider, everyone I know rides what they are given ...so you must be veeeery good ...and that makes me wonder who you ride for .

Hang on your name isn't Josh is it? I'm still not sure why you're asking the question. Judging by your comments in your last post it seems to me you have sold yourself on the vert already. Just buy the vert dude and be done with it.

I know a vert dealer who is willing to help me get a vert since he feels bad that I broke my leg and have not ridden in a year. I'm not sponsored by him but I am sponsored by several other companies like ASV, IMS, Duncan Racing, Galfer, Flexx bars, Utopia Goggles, Maxxis Tires, Elka suspension, my local Honda dealership and a few others. My big problem with the vert is no one has them over here in the USA yet and because of that there are no reviews. I am truely afraid of returning to racing and reinjuring myself on the vert pro because it broke in half from a big jump. If I have to spend over a year in a wheelchair and crutches again I don't know what I would do. If the vert pro has the same frame and swinger as the X4R I do not fear it snapping since I have witnessed people jumping the x4r repeatedly over 25 meters and no problems have occured and one guy I spoke with has owned his x4r over a year and rides almost daily in his back yard track which has a 26 meter double and a long whoop section. I weigh 175 and he weighs 190 and the only thing he changed was the rims and chain and lock tight all the bolts.

The problem is I dont think enough lol. I race both quads and motorcycles at Production A level and this was suppose to be my last year as an amatuer for quads even though I have only been riding them for 3 years. I was riding motorcycles for less than an hour b4 I let my buddies convince me to do a 30 meter table and after a few months of riding I entered my 1st race at Production A level and finished ahead of over half the racers. When I ride I don't think at all and have never backed down from a jump. If I start riding minis I am sure I will do the same so if I come up to a 25 meter jump I am going to jump it regaurdless but if the bike snaps in half and I break my legs again I will feel like a complete idiot for not researching if that bike could handle a jump that big. I'm not trying to brag or anything I'm sharing where I am coming from and why I feel I NEED to know what these bikes can handle with the mods I listed.
