2008 MotoVert Pro

I asked this question b4 but never really recieved an answer so I am going to clarify. Currently I am recovering from a broken femur, damaged acl, and torn quad muscle that has kept me on crutches and a wheelchair for over 1 year and I still have 2-3 months till I can ride again. I am a very ballzy rider that is willing to do some huge jumps and even though I have never jumped a mini, when I have the chance I am sure I will be jumping as far as I can. Will the 08 Vert Pro hold up to 25 meter jumps? I am mostly concerned about the frame, footpegs, and swingarm snapping after a big landing and reinjuring myself.

Is the frame and swingarm on the 2008 Vert Pro the same EXACT frame and swingarm that comes on the Pitster X4r? If it is then that is all I need to know since the pitster x4r is hands down THE BEST China mini. What other upgrades would you guys recomend other than the mods I llisted below. Remember, my biggest concern is the frame snapping, footpegs snapping, or swingarm snapping. With all the mods I listed the bike will still be under $3000 because of my sponsors.

-Replace China chain with quality RK
-Replace wheels with Talon Hubs, Excel Rims, and HD spokes
-Replace 125 Chytona motor with GPX yx 150 bored to 165 with Akunar piston and Takegawa +R head
-Replace handlebars with Faastco Flexx bars
-Replace Carb with quality 28mm (maybe tm28, pe28, or fcr28)
-I would like to replace the footpegs and mounts as well but I do not know if the klx110 or crf50 pegs and mounts will work.

building a bike will cost much more than that. MSO Elite? Yeah right, inferior forks, inferior motor, inferior rear shock. Why would I want to do that? I can build up the yx150 to over 20hp for around $1000 USD and the elka rear shock and marzocci shivers are the best in the minibike world. Please don't tell me what bike to get, if the vert pro has a crappy frame then I will be buying a Pitster x4r. My main concern is if the frame and swinger. Does anyone know if the frame and swingarm are the EXACT SAME as the Pitster X4R?

Im pretty sure they are the same, I'd say you'd be fine with the vert pro, the thing I keep breaking is gearboxes, thats why I wont ever buy a china again.

If you dont want to build a crf/klx/drz etc then I'd say the vert or X4R would be the best option.

Though the 08 vert pro hasnt been around that long so I havnt heard about what problems they have yet...

Try Planet Minis Forum , you'd probably get more info there as alot more people ride pitsters and verts there and Ive read a few threads about them there.

The China Daytona motors are crap and that is why I will be installing the yx150. Planet Minis is a USA based website and there is not a single Motovert Pro in the USA so everything they say is heresay. From the looks the Vert Pro and Pitster x4r are the exact same except the vert pro comes stock with the elka shock, Marzocchi shiver forks, better mounting brackets and location for oil cooler, and the x4r comes stock with the yx150 but so will my motovert pro.

Can someone confirm if the 2008 motovert Pro and the Pitster x4r share the same swingarm and frame? There are many other parts on the motovert pro that look the same as the parts on the x4r like the throttle, pegs, forks, and levers (front and rear brake, shifter, and clutch). If no one can positively confirm if the x4r parts and motovert pro use the same parts from the same factory, does anyone have a phone number that I can call?

I really don't think your going to find the answers your looking for on this forum. The X4R's aren't available in Aus and I doubt that anyone from Motovert is going to get on here to tell you. Why don't you try emailing Pitster to see what info they can offer. Sounds like a waste of time to buy a vert and put the same motor as the X4R in it and I doubt very much that one frame is going to be night and day better than the other.
