im thinking on getting one of these 150's but dont no if its worth the extra 500 buks when the yx 150 engine havnt proven them selves that they are reliable and that yet might get the 140 and then after a year or so put the 150 in if they are reliable

They mod them a little bit. The stock KLX/DRZ's come standard with drummies.

You wanna get rid of that exes filter oil. I took my bike out yesty and kept having to drain the bowl every five mins (green fuel was poruing out) of riding as it was sucking the shit into the carby and somehow ended up in the fuel bowl. I am still unaware of how this is possible, but when i got it home i rinsed the filter and now my bike is fine.

bought one myself last week from East 50's (Maylands Performance) and took it for a break in ride yesterday.
So far really happy with it. The rear suspension is tight, no problems if you land on jumps correctly, front shocks are firm, havent bottomed out either as yet, just babying so far, next week with new oil ill give a full report.
Toward the end of the day did use a bit more than quarter throttle and there is alot of power still to come.
I was really surprised at how well it does handle, softish sand/dirt, does get a bit twitchy and can follow the ruts of larger bikes but think most small bikes would.
