2008 TORQUE DYNAMIC RACING 125cc - Anyone owned?

Hey. I have done a search both on here and google but cant find any info on the quality of these bikes.
'08 125cc ALLOY PIT DIRT BIKE MOTOR TRAIL THUMPSTAR OX4 - eBay Other Trail Bikes, Trail Bikes, Motorcycles, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 15-Apr-08 20:08:00 AEST)

My girlfreinds dad is looking to buy one off ebay. I own an RR pitpro and find it to be a really good bike. I am just wondering if this bike would be as good. It seems to have a lot of ORION parts on it, comes with a 125cc DUCAR engine, twin spar alloy frame and mostly alloy parts (triple clamp/handlebars/swing arm etc). Just wondering if ORION parts are good and if the alloy frame is stronger than a steel frame and would suit a 95kg guy.

I am totaly aware that most of these bikes are just cheap chinese crap and require a fair bit of maintainance but i have managed to keep my pitpro mostly maintainance free by threadlocking everything and checking everything before and after riding, unlike my Atomik which litereally fell apart (shocks/brakes/chain/engine) from my lack of understanding.

Thanks anyone who replies. Riley.

Well, by the looks of it, almost.
I am also looking at those bikes on eBay atm :P

The AGB 27 is supposedly an AX125cc
Atomik Motorsports

There are differences if you look. The Atomik site suggests that all they do is get Chinese bikes and change a few bits and pieces to their "standards"? So you'll probably find that the Atomik one is slightly better, but in the end they both came from the same place

Well yeah. I have always been under the impression most CCB's were made in the same place. As soon as i got my Pitpro I thread locked everything, removed the crappy swing back style levers and fitted a good quality chain. And i havent had a problem with it yet. So the Pitpro is my choice but i payed $700 whereas these agb/tourque bikes seem to sell for less than $500. Also my GF's brother has a factory right next door to the Atomik factory here in ballarat. So maybe his dad would be better with an Atomik bike.

lol donty waste your money on anything other then a pitpro, dhz, pimpit, mso, motovert, pitsterpro, and some atomiks are ok like the 125 rs but this bike is hell well lets say (SHITT)

if you want a cheap GOOD 125 get the mso 125s or atomik 125rs but u can pick up a 140cc for around 600 aswell and they go alot better on are faster etc etc

id get a 140 not a 125 and there the same price

The '140s' aren't the same price, but yeah, there isn't a huge amount of price difference.

Basically, If you thread-lock the chinese bikes they seem to last ok-ish.

Just don't try to jump them, or it won't be just the bike that gets broken

If I buy another pitty its gonna be for a 50 year old dude. I doubt there'd be any jumping happening. and i doubt he'd want a 140. He's happy with a 125 and doesn't wanna spend more than about 450. So 140's are deffinately out of the question as all the ones i watched on ebay over the weekend went for between 700 and 950 whereas the 125's were between 350 and 650. Bit of a difference i rekon.
