hey brian is this the 2008 x4r that your tlkn about or is this still the 2007 one, i readon the website about some imprvements to the forks and suspension

this is what it said:

New For 2008

We set a standard in 2007 with the introduction of X4R that came equipped with the Italian built Marzocchi Shiver forks but that was not enough for us. After a year of riding and racing these bikes we’ve made a great bike even better with a new GPX Moto powerplant, high volume oil cooler and race tuned suspension. The 2008 X4R now comes with a GPX Moto 150cc four stroke, equipped with a close ratio four speed transmission, Manual clutch and 26 mm carburetor. With the added power, we knew people would need more traction and better handling, so we choose new aggressive front tire and fine tuned the rear shock for even more adjustment to maximize control under the toughest of conditions. New for 2008 is our “Build a bike” option, We know how personal it is to get the right set up for each rider that is why we have added options like, Elka shocks, Big bore kits, ASV folding levers, FMF exhaust, handle bars, light kits and more.

i posted the link for all you blokes out there

.:Pitster Pro:.

this was a suprise to me cos i have been told that the Italian built Marzocchi Shiver forks were the best on the market but i guess if the 2008 is a step up from the 2007 that must not be true cheers mate

hey brian also i see you sell the pitsterpros in blue do you also sell them in white like in the link cos that looks heaps betta than blue, cheers mate

Hi rainey.
We here in Australia are lucky to be able to make the final decision as to what the bikes are fitted with from the factory. The USA bikes are Spec'd slightly different to the Aust bikes.
To fit the X4R bikes with Shiver forks bumps the Retail price into the Stratosphere,so thats the reason for the current specs.
The 150cc GPX motor will probably be the most favoured motor by the big cc "Torque Mad" Pittyr riders out there !.
The Pitsterpro X4R is available from us with White Plastics !

Cheers Brian
