pounds. a weight reading for the spring. basically the higher the better as it is more resiliant to bottoming out etc..

keeping in mind your swing arm, axel and wheel have to take a load of this weight before the actual shock does..... picture a 3mm thick piece of alluminium around 30cm long, with a 300kg weight on the end of it..
