Wont start?

Hey guys alright im a nubslice to this. Got a piece of arse Chinese bike, now ive put it together, it wont kick over. It came with a spare spark plug is that a sign that the one in it is fucked? My mate bought one and his kicked over straight away and it was of an equally poor quality. So yeah any help would be appreciated cheers.

one of those. When you kick it there is more or less no actual noise from the motor, when you try electric start the starter motor just winds over.

Check your obvious things first in this order IMO
1. Spark (hold the plug against the head and kick it, you should see a spark)
2. Check you have fuel (fill the tank right up, open the screw on the bottom of the carby and fuel should piss out the plastic pipe, if it does then you have fuel at your carby)
3. Clean your jets.

It will be one of these simple things
