Gear levers... Universal?

Hey,

my foot gear lever is a bit worse for wear. I took it off to see how hard it was to change and noticed its only 1 screw!

So now i am on ebay and theres heaps of types, are they all the same to fit or should I just stick to one that looks the same...

Mine looks lsimilar to this...

But then theres ones like this...

Thanks

They are pretty much universal. Some bikes have a different footpeg/Gearshift ergonomics requiring Longer/shorter or wider gear shift levers.

The Gear shifters we carry are similar to the Blue pic..

Cheers Brian

Best to go for the plain straight one but make sure its strong.

The one on my old bike used to get heated up by the engine and then when the bike falls over it bends, I had to bend it back with a mallet about 20 times.

I went to some scooter shop near me and the closet thing they had was an XR lever I took that, it fits and all but its too short and it curves out too far, make sure you go for a normal one.

Why would you want something like this? Not like you're going to be adjusting it constantly. You set it once and forget it. Like the above says, it'll bend to easy. IMO its just another bling design that doesn't have a place in the real world.

Now fully adjustable rearsets/pegs on a pitbike. That'd be cool. LOL
