can't rev fast

I got a problem if I try and rev my bike fast like a quick blip it bogs down and sounds like it wants to cut out. I played with the air screw to try and fix it but didn't work. any suggestions?

More info.

What bike you riding? Size engine? Size carby? Did you recently replace carby? Is it a new bike or used and abused?

It could be one of a hundred things. A bit more info will help narrow it down.

I had the same problem on my Lifan (just about everybody has or had that flat spot). I changed my main jet (mikuni carb) to a 102.5 and adjisted the E clip and adjusted the air screw (basic carby tuning) and it fixed it.

Do a search on "flat spot" or "main jet" and you should find your answer.
