Thumpstar motor replacement

hey everyone,does anyone know what motors out there fit straight into a 2006 thumpstar pro 125? i was hoping that a lifan 138 would or just a lifan 125,Your help would be awsome.

Hey man I rekon a 125 will fit. Theres no point in getting the 138 there is no noticeable power difference and it requires an oil cooler.

has you'r motor got the "start in any gear" option?

if so id just get a 146 head/piston etc... MPE sells them Mayland Performance Spares otherwise there 140cc lifan will fit

man it isnt hard at all but time consuming =P i got mine in after tea with a couple of mates working on there bike 2... basiclly all you need to do is unscrew your old engine and all the other shit attatched eg. pipe, carbie, electrics, spark plug and drop your engine out and the the opisite to your new one... atatch everything and run her in NICELY!! =)

cool thanks, really just needed to know for sure that engine mounts were all the same as other pitbikes,thanks again
