Brand New 250cc Zongshen Cuts Out When Put Into Gear

JUST PERCHASED A 250 ZONGSHEN , KICKSTARTS 1ST TIME EVERY TIME.WHEN I PUT CLUTCH IN ENGINE STILL RUNS BUT WHEN I PUT IT INTO 1ST GEAR IT JUST CUTS OUT EVERY TIME . ANYBODY ELSE HAD ANY TROUBLE LYK THIS?????? ANYBODY GOT ANY TIPS OR IDEAS ABOUT WHAT THE PROBLEM COULD BE

maybe adjust the clutch?, tighten the cable. could be wrong but try it

yeah tried that ,but still cuts out.some ppl wer saying adjust the carburetor but i doubt it cud b that cud it

so your saying when you have the clutch pulled in and you pop it into gear it stalls with the clutch in??

if so than you clutch adjustment is out, adjust the cable so its tightens (shortens) the cable.

if it stalls when you let the clutch out, than you dont know how to ride a manual lol

Yeah It Jerks 4-ward Then Cuts Out,when Clutch Is Pulled In.
Adjusted The Clutch Cable Yesterday To As Tight As I Cud Get It.still No Joy.

Well it is definately your clutch. It's not engaging. Pull in your clutch lever and push up the clutch arm and see if it moves up.

yeah ive tried adjustind the clutch+tightened it as tight as it goes and just does exactly the samethe clutch arm moves more forward now but still havin exactly the same problem

perhaps the lever is not holding or engaging under the cover somewhere. take the case off and have a poke around inside, check everything that is supposed to move moves.

do you have experience/knowledge?

havnt got the experience to do that.you buy a brand new bike+u expect to b able to ride it once uve set it up,a dont understand how anythin cud b wrong with it. guna get sum1 whos nos about bikes 2 hav a look at it l8a on
