Unscrew the top of the carb and the throttle spring will come out along with the carby piston/throttle slide, the cable goes through a slit in the throttle slide.
The other end of the cable goes into the throttle housing, unscrew the screws on the throttle so it comes apart and connect the cable to the plastic part inside. Its a good idea to put some grease in there aswell to avoid the cable snapping after a while.
i guessed that much, my throttle slide wont come out tho... how do i get it out, seems jammed? when i open the carby top only the spring comes out, ive tried using a screw driver but it wont budge.
Sounds like some fool put the piston in 180 degrees out and the idle screw is jamming the pin slide bit. Try turning the idle screw out a bit more and gently use a screw driver to lever the piston/slide up.
