Fastace Bs58rc

Just bought a Bs 58 rc shock which has no charge in it!

Do i put air or oil in it or how much psi do i put??????

Do i need a shock pump or can i use any air pump???

Your comments are much appreciated.

WHACK some air in just use a bike pump thats what i do i just pump it till she cant pump no more lol

hope this helps tho there may be a better way that i dont know of

It needs actual shock obsorber gas but air is good enough,

you have to take it to a garage or something to get it regassed i think

yeh you should use nitrogen but normal air will be fine, it just doesnt keep the same charateristics if the shock is being used alot for a peroid of time, with the pressure, just pump her up and then you can either add or let some out to suit

Thanks for that!

Trying to build a chinese BBR frame kit out of an orian ducar 27 (what a nightmare!!!) Do you know anyone who is doing something similar???? would love to hear/see some pictures.

I just want to go riding - sick of it!!!!

The nitrogen gas keeps the shock cool ........

arrr i figured as much as i have it in the wifeys car tyres

can you tell me if just compressed air is the same
as we or i ride chinnys and not the top end of bike's i figured this would do

please correct me if im wrong

nitrogen doesnt change its pressure when it gets hotter, air does that is why they use it in formula one cars and shocks, or so i believe

nitrogen is not supposed to hold heat as much as air does
thats why a tyre seller will recommend it for highway cars as when the tyres heat up the rubber gets softer and wears quicker
in respects to pitbike shocks it would stop it heating up and increasing pressure in the shock which would result in a stiffer shock after a period of riding
