yeh you should use nitrogen but normal air will be fine, it just doesnt keep the same charateristics if the shock is being used alot for a peroid of time, with the pressure, just pump her up and then you can either add or let some out to suit

Trying to build a chinese BBR frame kit out of an orian ducar 27 (what a nightmare!!!) Do you know anyone who is doing something similar???? would love to hear/see some pictures.
nitrogen is not supposed to hold heat as much as air does
thats why a tyre seller will recommend it for highway cars as when the tyres heat up the rubber gets softer and wears quicker
in respects to pitbike shocks it would stop it heating up and increasing pressure in the shock which would result in a stiffer shock after a period of riding
