What Could The Problem Be?

hello, i have had a strabge problem with my bike.. The other day it was working fine would kick start first or 2nd kick. Went to start it today and it wont fire up. so i took the plug out and tested for spark and the spark plug is only randomly getting a good spark going to it. I have tried to spark plugs but still only randomly getting good spark. I know this must be electrical so any help would be appreciated. Could It Be The Cdi??? thanks Matt

I had the same problem when i put a irk in to my motor. I would get spark on and off at different times, i found out that it was the the spark pick up near the flywheel it must of had a broken wire in the line. See if you can get someones coil to try but my guess is it has something to do with the stator plate.
