2nd gear gone?

Hey guys, my mates 125 lifan has lost second gear. When changing into second it just crunches so he has to go from first to third. Can anyone tell me if this is an easy fix and how to fix it? Thanks

yeah i got a 110 thats missing 3rd gear so hope you get your answer so i can have a crack at fixing mine

Hardest part is finding a new gear set,

Than its a case of pulling the engine apart, and replacing it with a new set of gears...

to bad we didnt all have the same engines, 1 could have first, another second and i'd take 3rd

Hey guys ,
Check the selector forks as they have a tendancy to ware down and then it does not change into gear properly ,and it sounds like it is crunching and grinding
if you guys need gear sets i have a lifan 125 which has been dismatled and all the gear cogs are as good as new ,

Thanks guys, we havent had a chance to pull the engine yet. Just bought another engine today to put in the bike so when I get a chance I will have a look at the selctor forks as that sounds like the problem. I will let u know how it goes.
