QA50 Second gear slip

anyone know much about the slipping out of second gear on a qa50.

my underundersting is that all models after frame/engine number QA50-1069528 have the non slip modification kit factory fitted.

K0 - 100xxxxx

K1 - 200xxxxx

K2 - 300xxxxx

K3 - 400xxxxx

I have a K1 with engine number QA50E-B A08133

does anyone know whether this engine has the factory mod as she is slipping in 2nd gear.

Your QA50 is quite old , when was the last service performed on the clutch? Since its a 2 stroke change out the gear oil it will be contaminated if it hasn't been seviced in a while. Go over you clutch basket and plates , Sounds like you need some new plates by the sound of it. Clutch's will slip normally if these pads are worn and the oil is contaminated.
