whats the better 150 engine

Those Daytona 150 gear ratios look a bit weird:

1st to 2nd = 0.82 = very nice assuming 0.8 is ideal for a 4 spd MX box.
2nd to 3rd = 0.65 = way way too wide a gap for MX.
3rd to 4th = 0.69 = way too wide.
3rd to 4th = 0.77 = ok.

Published data:

Gear ratio : 18/67 (3.18), 13/34 (2.62), 17/29 (1.71), 22/26 (1.18), 24/22 (0.91)

If right, means the Daytona 150 is a cripple for MX. What is the target market for that engine?

an average 140 will put out 12 Horsepower.
a 150 will do 16 Horsepower.
if you can go better than ur rockin
ur 125 probably has 9 horsepower

a 125 does 7, a 140 9-10 and a 150 11-12 HP ....rear wheel of course

If you wanna believe the exaggerated "BSHP" figures posted on ebay listings good on ya' ..... some people like to live in the real world aka REALITY ......

Jialing 125's put out 7.78 hp ... Lifan BVH 125's put out 8.45 hp :
