just my opinion

the two bottles i refer to are not soda bottles but true cylinders of about 2 litres capacity

all engines have powerbands you know, it's not an mechanical "thing" you bolt on to an engine, when talking about powerband one refers to the part of the RPM range where the engine produces most HP's, some engines have short and violent powerbands, like 2 strokes, and other engines have long smooth powerbands, like 4 strokes.

but back to the NOS topic, I to have played with the Idea of bolting on one of these cheap NOS kits on my bike, but as cactusjack already has pointed out, you would need a source of extra fuel to be injected alongside the nos or you will seriously reduce the engine-life, you could rig a system that opens up the choke at the same moment you hit the nos, but that would require you run a carb with choke-jet instead of an choke that simply blocks the venturi.

as fiddy has said, powerband is simply where an engine produces the most power (becomes the most efficient). ALL engines have it, two strokes are an extremely inefficient engine at any stage other then during "powerband"

powerband kicks in on all bikes between max torque and max Horsepower. simple.
but on a 2 stroke the band is short and snappy

I really don't understand why so many people talk about "the Powerband" like it's a part only some engines have, EVERY engine made who makes power has a powerband, so to answer your question deviot: yes, pitbikes have powerbands, everybike you'll ever ride has a powerband.

you need a wet nitrous system we hooked one up to my mates 50cc mini bike and it would flip us off every time even leaning over the front of the bike, its unreal power on a 2 stroke but still need same system for a thumper.
