eyyy there i got the new 26mm mikuni carcb the other week and got straight into installing it butt coz i got the twin spar frame it was goin to be to hard to hav it cum to the side so decided to go out front... it goes alot harder and looks good as well... as well with the breather kit the bike flys ... its alll good here is a few pikkksss...
is there any way to make a custom manifold for that carby. it looks a little funky sticking out the front there, could take some serious damage from rocks from the front wheel. just looks to be in a precarious position there. more to the point, how does it run man. it goes alot harder but are their any flat spots, did you need to do any fine tuning to it?? glad to see you got some more punch out of your beast but i would be looking into a custom manifold or a straight manifold like jwe97015 suggested.
yeh thanks tony umm if i was goin to i would have to use a custom manifold but i will wait till it happens but the agb-29 has the carby straight forward but it is sorta positoned on the front fender,,,, um yeh it goes hard as all the tuning i had to do was turn the idle down a lil l0l but no flat spots all good so far... another good thing with the carby here is not just cold air but the hole carby keeps cold because its totally away from the exhaust,, an i know this coz i was riding for a bout an hour n ahalf no full frangin but i felt the fuel bowl n the the rest of it and it wasnt even warm so yeh happy with the results...
