Power man - that looks fantastic! Whats happening with the engine? Where did you get the second headlamp bucket and what are you doing with it?

yeh , its fun doing this resto.

i dont wana draw attention to myself , as i wanted people to post their own bike but anyways a little update on things.

bottom end on engine : polished cases myself ( looks ok better than it did) the side covers have been painted and look awsome. - took the bottom end to a motorbike shop who specialise in older bikes, took a 5 min look and said dont touch it after checking a few things and the clutch that usualy show signs of wear. they said they dont bother taking them apart casue they are usualy spot on.

but the top end is going to get done to it : New vavles ,inner and out springs , seats , seals ,keepers etc.
i told the guy the head is in ok nic but could do with a little clean up.
so he will clean the ports , and mating surfaces (head gasket , head cover surface etc.)

at the moment i am fixing up my wiring harness , but the thing is that i have to buy lots of componets eg 100 packs when i only need 10 on a wiring harness , so if any one here who needs their z50 wiring harness to be redone or a new one let me know ,

QA50 - i have one as a spare got it off ebay, but no i am going to keep it because it is as rare as hens teeth.

Here some pics of the motor.

Cheers everyone
