Rules Regarding Banning: For your information and from now on:
Banning and user infringements will be dealt with as follows by the forum moderators.
1. The Moderator will give a ONCE ONLY Warning to the offending user - and in that warning will cite the rule that has been breached. The warning will require the member to stop the offending conduct immediately and tell him that if it is repeated he will be banned without further notice.
2. If the conduct is repeated or continued then a ban will be affected immediately and a further notice sent to the member advising that he has been banned and the reason for the banning. The notice will tell the member that he is banned for a specified period and that if he wants to be eligible to regain entry to the forum he must send email to the admin requesting ban be removed and provide an apology for the past behaviour and an undertaking not to re-offend.
3. If the member becomes a repeat offender after being re-admitted then a permanent ban will be applied and the repeat offender will be told why.
4. These banning guidelines are essential for the smooth running and management of a forum for the benefit of the majority of forum users who support enforcement of the conduct rules.
5. Any member who has been cited for a breach of the forum rules may appeal to the site administrator by sending a PM to Admin or using the Contact email provided on the home page menu.
6. It is in the interests of all forum members that they give their full support to the forum moderators when they take action to enforce the conduct rules. Personal attacks on and public criticism of a moderator and a moderator decision in the open forum has the potential to ultimately destroy the viability of the forum and may lead to its closure. That would be hugely disappointing to the majority of forum users who are prepared to abide by moderator decisions, knowing that if they feel the decision is wrong or unfair they have the right to appeal direct to the site admin for a review.
