nah, the thing is i'm a size 10, but size 10 boots are a bit large & get stuck on & around the bars & seat when doing tricks. so i discovered if i use size 8 alpinestars & take out the booties its perfect for the way i ride

& i have old tech 8's at the moment, so these tech 10's would be a good step up
